06:30 AM Hotel pick up to begin excursion to the Super Sacred Valley of the Incas. You will start visiting the viewpoint of Chinchero, then Moray, where you will observe several natural caverns that were used as terraces for agricultural experimentation.
Following the route you will reach the Salineras located 7 km northwest of the town of Maras, where the famous “Salt Mines” are located, consisting of about 3000 small salt wells. After visiting Salineras, you will head to Urubamba, where you will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at the “Pucapunku” restaurant. (Optional).
Following lunch you will head to the Fortress and Citadel of Ollantaytambo. Built to monitor the entry to this part of the valley and protect it from possible invasions.
On your way to Cusco you will visit the city of Pisac, where you can appreciate the craft fair and find beautiful crafts at a very good price.
Return to Cusco at approximately 7:00 pm.
