Alternative Cusco

07:30 am, departure to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. You will start visiting the high Andean town of Pisaq, where you will be able to appreciate the craft fair. You will continue on to the town of Urubamba, where you will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at the “Puka Punku” Restaurant then continuing to  Ollantaytambo and a guided tour of the ruins. After the excursion you will have to board the Inca Rail train that will depart 04.36 pm to Aguas Calientes. 06:00 PM arrival at Machupicchu station, reception and transfer to the chosen Hotel.

08:00pm, the local guide will visit you at the Hotel to give you the explanatory talk of the tour to Machupicchu.

07.00 a.m. After breakfast, you will board the buses to the citadel of Machupicchu, where you will enjoy a guided tour of two and a half hours of this wonderful archaeological site. You can visit the most important places of this archaeological site: The Intihuatana, the Temple of the Sun, the Temple of the three windows, the house of the guardian etc.

Rest of the morning free to stay in Machupicchu and take photos.

12.30 p.m. opportune time to take the buses to descend to the town of Aguas Calientes, have lunch and go to the Train Station to board the Ica Rail train that will depart 02.30 p.m. bound for Ollantaytambo, after 01 hour and a half of travel arrival at the Ollantaytambo station, meeting with the transfer and transfer to the city of Cusco.
